About Me
Introducing your author...
Hi! My name is Aryan Shah, and I am a first-year student at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I'm originally from Franklin Township, New Jersey, a small town smack dab in the middle of Central Jersey (which does, in fact, exist.) I'm majoring in Government and History on a pre-law track, and love economics and public policy classes as electives go. In my free time, I do Model UN at the International Relations Club, play Dungeons and Dragons at the Tabletop Games Club, and play competitive Pokémon on the Showdown platform. My favorite place to study on campus is Read & Relax in Swem Library, where I can usually be found nursing a coffee from Swemromas.
Ever since I started learning about governments and social policies in my civics classes in high school, I've always wondered about the best type of socioeconomic system to improve people's lives and create tightly-knit communities. Reading about social democracies and the theories of thinkers mentioned on this website inspired me to do my own research and come up with my own ideas about economics. I'm excited to present those ideas to you throughout this website!
